Applications for our FREE 3K/PKFA are now open! Applications must be done on Myschools,nyc by March 1,2024. Current 3K students MUST apply for a seat in our PKFA program, it is not an automatic roll over. Please mark current student to receive priority placement. We are site RAEX. The DOE will release offers in May to families that applied by March 1. If you currently have a sibling in our school please be sure to mark that on your application. Current students and siblings receive priority placement in our program.
We have been assured by our supplier Flynn and O'Hara that all uniform pieces are available! Students will begin school in the summer uniform. Please check with Flynn and O'Hara what uniform pieces are required. Now that we have added gym students will wear their gym uniform on Monday and Tuesday. We ask that all families comply with the uniform requirement and purchase ALL uniform pieces at Flynn and O'Hara. All students are expected to be in the correct uniform. Leggings or cargos are not uniform pieces. Gym uniforms must have the FVCCA logo. Please plan ahead and purchase any needed winter uniform pieces ahead of time (including shoes). We anticipate moving to the winter uniform around Columbus Day Weekend.
Please welcome Mrs.Londis who is our new gym teacher! Students in grades K-8 will have gym on Mondays. We will continue to have yoga on Tuesdays! We are so excited to bring these two physical education classes to our students weekly!
K-8 must be in by 7:30AM. Kindergarten will enter through the kindergarten door located in the parking lot and up the ramp. 1st-8th grade will enter through the main entrance and proceed to the cafeteria. 3K and PKFA will enter with 1 adult for orientation through the Kennsington Ave entrance at their assigned time. Please note their is NO BUS SERVICE for K-8 students on Sept.7th and it will be an early dismissal day There will be no bus service on September 8th. September 8th will be a full day for K-8 students.. WELCOME BACK! THERE'S NO PLACE LIKE FVCCA!
Accepted and returning families should enroll as soon as possible! Families that pay the enrollment fee by April 17th will save $100! Be on the look out for Enrollment Events coming up!
The deadline to apply for our free DOE funded 3K and PKFA has passed. If you missed the deadline you can still apply on Myschools.nyc and you will be placed on the waiting list for September 2023. We are site RAEX. Accepting an initial offer at another site will not change your status on our waiting list. If you receive an offer from us off our wait list you will be able to decline the seat you were offered at another site.
